I Can't Touch My Toes, But I Can Dance Like Nobody's Watching!

"Mirror, mirror on the wall, who’s the hottest dancer of them all?" I tease, winking at my reflection. Let’s face it, I’m a shameless dance enthusiast! And hey, if you're looking for a fun way to stay active, join the party!

I swapped my old dance card for a DanceFitme app and transformed my spare room into Boogie Wonderland. Picture this: me, in my gravity-defying gear (let's be honest, it's mostly stretchy pants), lost in a world of rhythm. The mirror? It's a magical portal where physics take a vacation. I've got moves that would make a contortionist jealous and a beat that could rival a drum machine. Okay, so the reflection might resemble a slightly deflated balloon, but who cares? It’s the heart that counts, right? Mine’s pumping disco beats like it's 1975, but with a touch of modern flair. I'm not afraid to mix it up with a little hip-hop, a dash of salsa, and even some ballroom twirls.

I dance, I laugh, I defy gravity (or at least pretend to), and I belt out Bob Seger like it’s my job. Because life’s a dance floor, and we’re all just trying to find our groove. Age is just a number, remember? Let’s embrace the journey, celebrate small victories, and keep the music playing. The world needs more people spreading joy and defying expectations, one dance move at a time.

I do have to keep my sense of humor and you can hear me still talking to myself that it doesn't matter, the mirror is only a reflection and not my passioned soul... And I'm exercising and that's the point at our age, is just keep moving and staying healthy!

I once tried to do the splits during a particularly energetic dance session and ended up looking more like a pretzel than a dancer. But hey, at least I got a good laugh out of it! And remember, i did exercise and enjoyed some special moves dancing !" Yeah! I absolutely did get 'Physical', as I crawled out of my room on all fours and knew the couch would be my best friend for awhile!
